This is a large subcontract for Midasco, part of the Springfield Interchange work in Northern Virginia. The scope of work for Midasco is comprised of permanent signing, roadway lighting, and ITS work. There are 19 overhead sign structures and all related work: 66 light poles and the installation of over 70,000 feet of conduit; installation of various ITS devices such as CCTV cameras, microwave link and microwave vehicle detector, 33 piezoelectric sensor units, over 12,000 of fiber optic cable both single mode and multimode, as well as numerous cabinets and transceivers.
